We had a fantastic time walking to nearby parks like Galena Grant Park, just a less than 5-minute walk away, and exploring the charming art scene at Outside the Lines Art Gallery, which is about 500 meters from the guest house, complemented by the lovely decor and delicious breakfast during our stay.

Checked into the Charlotte room with a cozy atmosphere, featuring a private entrance and a charming fireplace. The homemade ice cream served during wine and snack hour was a delightful treat, fostering great conversations with other guests. While I wished for a more extensive breakfast menu, the presentation and quality were fantastic overall. The decor was tastefully done, adding to the inviting ambiance of the place.

We had a fun stay with friends! The rooms were super cozy and had that cute homey vibe. The breakfast spread was delicious and made for a great start to the day. Plus, it’s an easy walk to all the shops! Just a bit noisy at night, but we still loved it.

The breakfasts here were incredible, with Susan crafting dishes from her published cookbook, and each room had its own bathroom, which was super convenient for our family. We enjoyed relaxing on the sun terrace and playing games in the cozy leisure room. My only gripe was that the Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak in our room, but it didn’t really dampen our stay. 🍳

i previously stayed in galena and this time at farmers guest house was just amazing! the hospitality from susan and don truly exceeded my expectations. the breakfast was a feast with fresh fruit and scrumptious pancakes, and our king room was thoughtfully decorated and immaculate.
